Effective from May 2017, TPD rules for nicotine-containing vaping products include:

• Capping nicotine strength in e-liquids at 20mg/ml
• Mandating child-resistant and tamper-evident packaging
• Banning additives like caffeine, taurine, and colourings
• Requirement for MHRA submission before sale
• Inclusion of appropriate warnings and information
• Prohibition of medicinal claims in marketing
